  • When you load 1 horizontal surface perpendicular to its plane, you need a 2D slabs license. For example: a foundation slab subjected to dead loads.
  • When you load 1 horizontal or vertical surface parallel and/ or perpendicular to its plane, you need a 2D slabs and 2D plates license. For example: a foundation slab subjected to wind loads.
  • When you have multiple surfaces not lying in the same plane (regardsless the orientation and the loading), than you need a 2D slabs, 2D plates and 3D plates license. For example: a basement consisting of a foundation slab and walls.
