<p>When starting Diamonds, PowerConnect or BIMExpert on Windows 11, you get the following error:</p>

<p><em>NL: Smart App Control heeft een app geblokkeerd die mogelijk onveilig is</em></p>

<p><em>FR: Le Contrôle intelligent des applications a bloqué cette application</em></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Solution</h2>

<p>This error only occurs on computers with the fresh, clean installation of Windows 11. You don&#8217;t get this error when you upgrade Windows 10 to Windows 11. </p>

<p>At the moment, we haven&#8217;t found the option to include a whitelist of safe programs in Smart App Control. So the only thing you can do, is turn off Smart App Control:</p>

<ul>
<li>Go to <em>Start </em>> <em>Smart App Control</em>  (FR: <em>Contrôle intelligent des applications</em>)</li>
</ul>

<p>The message means that Diamonds version on your license dongle (for example: 2019) is older than the Diamonds version you have installed (for example: 2021).</p>

<h2>Solution 2</h2>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://buildsoftsupport.com/knowledge-base/how-to-manually-remove-an-sql-database/">Uninstall the failed SQL database(s).</a> The BuildSoft-databases usually contains &#8216;BS&#8217; in their name.</li>
<li>Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\<em>*NameOfTheDatabase*</em>\MSSQL\DATA<br />
<em>*NameOfTheDatabase*</em> is usually &#8216;MSSQL12.SQLEXPRESS14&#8217; or similar containing &#8216;BS&#8217; (= short for BuildSoft) in the name.</li>
<li>Delete all files starting with &#8216;bs&#8217;, like:
<ul>
<li>bs_Authentication</li>
<li>bs_Exchange</li>
<li>bs_Gateway</li>
<li>bs_UBSM</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><a href="http://buildsoftsupport.com/knowledge-base/how-to-manually-install-an-sql-database/" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=nl&amp;q=http://buildsoftsupport.com/knowledge-base/how-to-manually-install-an-sql-database/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1499180719738000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEe-1HAfni8Mc3OkbW5lC570inhHA">Manually install a new SQL database</a>. Give it a different name then then the previous databases.</li>
<li>Run the Diamonds. Select the <strong>JUST CREATED SQL database (local)\<em>SQLEXPRESS_The_Name_You_Gave</em> </strong>from the list.<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-1387" src="http://buildsoftsupport.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SQL13-1024x393.png" alt="" width="643" height="247" srcset="https://support.buildsoft.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SQL13-1024x393.png 1024w, https://support.buildsoft.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SQL13-300x115.png 300w, https://support.buildsoft.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SQL13-768x295.png 768w, https://support.buildsoft.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SQL13-50x19.png 50w, https://support.buildsoft.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SQL13-60x23.png 60w, https://support.buildsoft.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SQL13-35x13.png 35w, https://support.buildsoft.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SQL13.png 1116w" sizes="(max-width: 643px) 100vw, 643px" /></li>
