<p>In ConCrete you define the net coverage.  ConCrete will automatically add 10mm to the coverage.</p>
<p>So if you model a beam with a coverage of 35mm in Diamonds, and you want to model the same beam in ConCrete, you should set the coverage to 25mm. Because ConCrete will automatically add 10mm to the coverage.</p>

<p>The results of practical and theoretical reaseach on this matter have been published in a paper from R. Manuoi and J. Rondal, &#8220;<em>Optimal shear design of beams with CEB-FIB Model Code</em>&#8216;. From this paper the choice θ = 31° appears to be the most optimal solution.</p>

<p>The displayed ULS minimal reactions do not necessarely correspond with all load factor equal to 1.  ConCrete calculates the enveloppe of the loads, calculated with load factors 1.35 and 1, and distillates the minimal reactions.</p>
<p>You can only compare the total loading with the reaction in SLS RC (Serviceability Limit State Rare Combination), here the load factors are always 1.
